I had high hopes for this folding stool. I really like the concept and the compactness; however, it fails in execution.The metal tube pieces of the stool go together, but not securely. They don’t “snap” tightly together the same way other products using the same technology do. Instead, the tubes feel loose and unstable, even when inserted into each other.The “seat” part looks taught and firm in the Amazon photos. The material looks like it’s really good quality in the photos. In real life, this is not so. It sags and provides no support or stability. I would not sit on this…..Not to mention the fact that the surface area is REALLY small. When I ordered this, I thought that this might make for a convenient on-the-spot side table if I didn’t want to use it to sit on…but it can’t be used for that, either. You can’t rest a drink or anything on it stably. Your drink will topple over.And then trying to pack the pieces back into the case is an annoying hassle. I just gave up. This is going into my “junk” pile.

It actually fits in a small bag which can be carried in hand. It's very lightweight and made of lightweight metal frame. It's really small in size. Maybe around 6 in from the ground. It's better than sitting on the grass, but it's not something which you can use as a traditional stool. Height is very low and maybe more suitable for kids than adults but it's usable for camping.
