I was expecting thisnto be a gimmick, but it actually works! And well! As long as its light, powdery snow below 6".This shoots the snow up and away just like a snowblower would. It's super fun to use!There are several drawbacks however.1.) It's relatively heavy. That kind of makes sense right? But bc of this, it may not be the best for a seniors. You can push it along pretty well....but...2.) The bottom AND the rotating "blade" are made of plastic!! Ensuring you will have to replace it when a small rock or any foreign objects in the snow breaks the "blade".I would recommend they put small wheels or something at the bottom so that you arent pushing the plastic along cement or asphalt and wearing it down.Overall, I like it a lot, but it does have it's drawbacks. I went with the battery powered one which lasts quite long enough (havent tested how long it lasts but it was enough for me to do my driveway, sidewalk, and back porch).Id recommend it to those who have light snow fairly often. Pretty good product.

It is easy on the back and elbows. Works pretty good if there is no wind, fighting a battle otherwise. My drive is 110 feet long and two car wide. If there is 3” of snow I can almost clear it all with the new battery. If the snow is deeper expect less drive finished. It won’t do over 6”. Make sure there isn’t rocks or sticks. Scary noises and could break it or break something. Pretty lightweight. Need to bend to change direction of each swoop. Doesn’t really work if under 1-2”. Not enough snow to blow it far enough away, so you end up doing it with a shovel anyway. Doesn’t clean as good as a shovel IMO. The pic shows what I did with one battery life. I have back issues so it has been a life saver. Don’t expect it to preform like a large snowblower. You get what you pay for. Love there are no fumes like a lg snowblower. Used it 3x so far. Need a backup battery. Easy to push uphill with the extra handle and resting on your belly. Not hard on fresh snow.

I am 70 years old and just had a total shoulder replacement and am not supposed to use my left arm. However, I was able to successfully remove the snow from my driveway with ease. The shovel is lightweight and easy to push with one arm. It blows the snow out of the way and does not create huge mounds of snow in the process. I was able to clean the entire driveway before the battery went dead. My driveway consists of squares of concrete and some of them are uneven. I had to pick up the shovel to get past this problem. The shovel with the wheels might have been able to get past this but for the money this one did a great job of clearing the snow. It was easy to use and did not leave me huffing and puffing. I am glad I purchased this shovel and would highly recommend it.

I know it's only February, but this is the best purchase of the year and in a very long time! This has enough battery power to clear a 2 car driveway, walkway to the sidewalk and the actual sidewalk and still have power remaining!! It makes clearing the snow so easy and fast. This definitely saved my back. I bought this to use at my parent's house, because their snow thrower wasn't working. The first time I used it, I had to drive it into a snow bank much higher than it was supposed to be used on, and it worked like a champ! I ran though the battery before I could finish, but that's understandable given the situation. I would highly recommend buying this if you want to keep up on your snow removal along the way without having to wait to pull out the big snow thrower. I was looking for something I could disassemble if needed, so I could transport it, and this was easy to put together and will be easy to take apart if I need to take it in my car. The fact that you can direct the snow as well is a game changer and is a feature you only typically get with a motorized snow thrower.

Bought it for my husband for Christmas and he is absolutely amazed.We only have a 3 car driveway so a snowblower was pointless but shoveling would take about an hour.He can do the entire driveway in 20 minutes. Super light weight and easy to use right out of the box.We ordered a second battery just in case.One fully charged battery will do our driveway twice.We’ve only had it 12 days so longevity isn’t something I can comment on but if anything changes I’ll update my review!So far 5 stars!

I cannot comment on the durability since I've only been able to use it once. It works very well with the light snow I've tried it with, and it's fun/satisfying to use. We will see if it's lasts long, but so far it's worth the cost.

Worked for 1 use. Now blades will not turn. Motor runs. Manual says the belt has to be replaced.

I am a senior and need a bit of help occasionally for my front walkway and drivewayI’ve used this battery snow shovel twice now and it’s very manageable for me as well as a couple of my neighbours that have borrowed it and ready to purchase one as well.So far this shovel is a huge hit.

I am telling you will not regreat buying this product it is the best ever I been using it for two months and not problems at all I will clean my sidewalk my three other neighbours sidewalk as welm then I will clean my back deck and then clean rhe driveway in my back garage and the battery is going strong no problem. I loved it

I bought this electric snow shovel to clear a six car driveway and approximately 100 feet of sidewalk (4' Wide). I purchased it last winter, however didn’t really get a chance to use it much last year. this is my first real test of the shovel.Last night we had about an inch and a half of snow with a crusty surface. With a fully charged battery, I was able to clear the entire sidewalk and 85% of my driveway with no significant slowing down of the shovel. From that point, the shovel would stop after clearing about a 4 foot stripe. I would then pull the shovel back squeeze to handle again, and clear another 4 foot stripe before it stopped again. Using this method, I was able to clear the remaining 15% of the driveway. Total run time was about 35 minutes.I had an additional fully charged battery, but I wanted to push this first battery to see how much power I could eek out of it. I’m very satisfied.The shovel could be a bit lighter, but since I use it, mostly by pushing it along the ground, and then dragging it backwards, it wasn’t too much effort to use it.The only thing you have to watch out for is which way the wind is blowing. You do have a bit of directional control from a knob on top of the head of the shovel. So you can direct the vanes of the shovel about 30° to the left or to the right, but keeping an eye on which way the wind is blowing is critical so you don’t wind up having the blown snow drift back onto the area you just cleared!Overall, I think it’s a great shovel and very happy I bought it. It will serve our purpose of clearing light snow, and I have my large snowblower for anything significant.I would buy it again and recommend it to friends.

It was as expected, but heavier. The blower is great and shoots the snow a good height and distance. As I said, it's heavier than expected and a little harder on my back. Still better than shoveling!

Little plastic runners that the battery slides on to to hold it in place broke off. VERY small amount of plastic used to hold battery in place. Be very careful when setting it on the ground or the battery will break off!!!
