They sounded like a must have

What I was looking for. Minimum friction for long walks and hikes.

For the life of me I can't get away from getting blisters on my ankle when wearing my hockey skates. No amount of wearing them in seems to work and that's where these socks come in. I realize they are not meant for skating, but I couldn't find anything else that would promise an improvement. To my surprise they worked. They're a little short, but since they cover my ankle, the blisters went away. I wish the stitching around the toes would be better as sometimes they bunch up and get a little uncomfortable around the toes, but the double layer tech is definitely legit. Now let's talk about the price. On Amazon USA, they are often on sale and even though expensive, they're relatively reasonable. Amazon Canada is a whole different story. They are often 2.5x the price of the Amazon USA price (currency conversion adjusted). I mean who wants to spend $55 CDN on a single pair of socks! I don't know if this is an Amazon issue or the makers of Wrightsock, but let's get real and fix this in the future.

Perfect fits and the duel layer helps prevent blisters.

I've been going on a 4-mile walk/hike every day in my neighborhood. It's the only exercise I can do while I'm recovering from brain surgery. But I developed horrible blisters and couldn't walk for weeks. I researched online how to best heal them and my doctor also mentioned blister prevention socks. I tried another brand first and even with mole-skin, vaseline and other approaches to blister prevention, I still got blisters and painful hot spots. Then I found these Wrightsock brand double-layer socks. It's the double layer that is the key to their ingenious design. The two layers rub together and there's no friction on your skin. I haven't had any blisters or hot spots since I started wearing these and I no longer need moleskin. I'm ordering more!

They're my favorite socks. They are more expensive but totally worth it. They way outlast any competitors and the comfort!!!

There aren't many 2 layer running socks on the market these days so I suppose I should be thankful for anything. These eliminate blisters where I'd normally get blisters with single layer socks. But, at those friction points, the socks developed holes after not too many runs.

These socks never feel like you have them on your feet properly. They are so tight your feet (and my feet) feel cramped to the point of constant distraction. The seam at the toe begins to feel so tight that I can tell that what I have on my hands (or feet actually) is nothing short of the precursor of an ingrown toenail (times two of course). The only satisfaction I could ever get out of these socks is shoving them down the throat of the person who wrote the misleading advertisement for them. I wore these crappy things for one day with a brand new pair of $220.00 Ecco hiking shoes. I had to take the socks off and replace them with another pair of real socks. The stitching at the toes was tearing apart after less than one day's use and the heels were visibly frayed and already almost worn through! These are the crappiest, junkiest, worst fitting, most expensive attempts to make a sock I have ever seen. I bought two pairs of these. I intend to use them to wipe up after I take my next four craps, thus bringing them to a fitting end.
