I was concerned about the sturdiness of the many different hose reel stands available. This one, a little more expensive, turned out to be well made and looks like it will last. It's a plain design, which appealed to me. It installed in the soil relatively easily and, so far, seems firm. After I received one and tried it I liked it enough to order two more.
