CAUTIONS
1, The device must be used under rated voltage 5V=2A(10W), insufficient power of the adapter will cause no heating. Make sure the adapter has enough power.
2, The heater must be fully submersed into the water. The external temperature controller must be kept away from the water as it is not waterproof.
3, Disconnect power adapter and wait for 15 minutes before changing water or remove heater.
4, Place the heater in the way of water flow and don't bury it.

Better than I expected, remembers it's last setting if powered down and can be switched between Fahrenheit or Celsius.Stays within 1 degree of the setpoint when tested against a very accurate temperature sensor and I bought 2 and both are similar.Checked them with a thermal camera for any concerning hot spots in the plug wiring or control box and no concerns there.Only drawback I found is the temperature readouts will not be accurate when actively heating as the temperature sensor sits on the element.

Don't work properly. One minute is cold and another heat a lot. Don't buy it if you love your fish

Good size for a fish bowl. The adapter isn't suitable for Australian outlets. If starting a new tank, put very warm water in and will heat quicker
