I ordered this pump to provide adequate water pressure for my drip irrigation system. The pump sits between my IBC water storage tote and helps to pressurize the water lines so the drip and spray functions correctly. Since it was wired for 12 volt, it was easy to hook up to the solar panel / battery system that I have in the greenhouse. The self-priming feature works well and is a necessity for my type of use.
