They are actually 1650 W heating elements not 2000W. Labeled 2kW, but per ohms law they are mathematically 1650W.

My water heater requires a 2KW lower element which isn't always carried in the big box stores, so I thought I would try these. Hard water in my area causes a build up on the elements which requires me to swap out elements about every six months These elements appear to be well made, match my old element, and installation is easy and quick. These elements are a little pricey as they are 50-75% higher in price than what I can order from HD with the same delivery time frames. This would be competitive deal at $15-20 but not at $40.

Easy to install, just loosen the screws, attach the wires, and tighten it up. Good price for a 2-pack, so if/when one wears out we'll already have another one waiting.
