I didn't expect these to actually go through cardboard the way that the electric rotary cutters do, but.... they blast through boxes like no one's business! I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they work even on thicker materials. They're not heavy, so they're easy to handle and hold onto, and they don't require a lot of trigger force to use so they're ideal for someone with compromised mobility or arthritis. They've been great for helping me break down boxes for recycling, and just as good for helping me cut up old clothing to use as rags.

These electric scissors slice through cardboard with ease, which is what I'll be using them for primarily. The handle is ergonomically designed and the unit is easy to use. Compared to regular scissors, the comfort and ergonomics are exponentially better here. The only slight issue I have is that the unit is much bigger than I would like making it more difficult to store, but other than that this works great.
