The M30 would turn my air conditioner on and off at 5 minute intervals. It would turn the AC on even when the set temp and room temp were the same. Lennox tech said the problem was that the M30 was "too sensitive" for my house. My house is 2200 sq ft, 22 years old. The M30 was installed on an inside wall. There was no fix offered by Lennox. I had to remove the M30 and go back to an older Nest.One major thing to be aware of. Lennox will only work with an installing dealer to find a solution if the unit does not behave. Lennox will not work with a home owner or end user. So if buying here, it's buyer beware. You will not be able to go to Lennox for warranty repair or replacement.

These are terrible units. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason how they operate. My furnace runs 15 hours a day with this unit. You can see the thermostat shows the temperature you set it at but it fires up the furnace anyway. I have the highest bills I have ever had. I will replace with my old one.
