Easy to mount and relatively sturdy for what it is. Wish that there were more thumbscrew contacts for each mounting position, but it works. The fingerprint function can be touchy but it does also work. The keyed access is a little squirrelly as the key doesn't go in very far and is prone to falling out when the drawer drops. Multiple power supply options is a plus as redundancies are important failsafe's.

This biometric gun vault is a fantastic addition to any home or office. The fingerprint unlock is impressively fastโunder 0.1 seconds according to the specs. I couldn't measure it, but it was definitely less than a second โso you can access your firearm in a pinch. Programming up to 20 fingerprints and setting a passcode is super easy, giving you plenty of flexibility. I input several of my fingers, as well as the wife's. The drop-down drawer design makes access quick and smooth, and itโs easy to mount in just about any spotโnightstand, desk, closetโyou name it. The LCD display is a nice touch, letting you keep an eye on temperature, humidity, and battery life. Plus, the internal LED light is perfect for those middle-of-the-night moments.
