Please be sure and check the model of your monitor before ordering! This bracket is designed to fit only the following Acer and Viewsonic Models: R240HY bidx (does not fit R240HY Abmidx), SB220Q, RT240Y, R221Q, R271, R231bmid, RT270, G227HQL, G237HL, G247HYL, G257HL, G257HU, VX2276-smhd, VX2376-smhd, and VX2776-smhd.
Also, please check the Version of your monitor before ordering.
The only version of model R240HY that fits this adapter is the bidx.

REMOVE ORIGINAL BASE & ATTACH ADAPTER
Put Monitor Face Down
First, lay your monitor face down on the table with the original mounting bracket hanging over the edge of the table top.
Remove Mounting Bracket
Take hold of the original mounting bracket, and pull down and out to remove the entire bracket from the monitor.
Replace Mounting Bracket
Once the mounting bracket is detached from the monitor, you will be able to attach the MOUNT-AR240H adapter.
Attach the Adapter
Lastly, slide on the adapter and mount it (with the screen) to your stand. And now your new monitor setup is ready to go!

Perfect fit with my Acer Nitro SB220Q monitor. All metal sturdy & simple design, straightforward installation, mated perfectly with the VESA pole mount I had already bought before realizing my monitor didn't have VESA-compliant holes in the back. Finding this bracket specifically for my Acer was a happy surprise, and it works!

I wanted to mount a monitor (Acer) that turns out wasn't designed to be mounted. It was disappointing to see that I'd have to buy a new monitor, and I really didn't want to/couldn't justify spending the money when the one I had was perfectly fine other than the mount.When I found this attachment by Vivo, I was so hopeful and excited that it would work. And it does beautifully. The only thing I would mention is that when taking it off or the original monitor attachment off, the metal edge is very sharp and requires a blunt force to push it out of the base. It can cut you if you are not careful.My monitor is the Acer R240HY if it helps anyone.

This is life saver for me it does good job if you don’t have built in holders. I have Asus monitors and it doesn’t have central control. Ordered this adapter and it working great !!! Good grip.

Converts the monitor into a vesa compatible one to work with my monitor arms. Definitely a little expensive for what it is, but works well.

I bought this for my Acer R241Y (Bbix) to use with the VIVO dual mount. I wasn't sure if would work because the exact model wasn't listed in the product description, but it worked perfectly. Felt a bit flimsy at first on the mount, but it's holding great with no issues. Easy to install, highly recommend if you need this for an Acer monitor.

I have an Acer HA220Q monitor and used this to mount it on a monitor arm. Holds the monitor fairly well, but the connectivity to the monitor is a bit loose, this may vary between monitors. It’s sturdy but I can feel it move when adjusting my monitor arm.

Does its job. But it is too wide. I have a very slim monitor that is why it doesn't have a VESA. But this adapter keeps it 3 inch apart from stand.
